F10®CLXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser – 5Litre

F10®CLXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser – 5 Litre has the same broad spectrum of kill as F10®CL Veterinary Disinfectant but with added detergent to provide a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning and disinfection in routine hygiene applications. It is a soapy liquid with a slight pine fragrance and a green appearance.

At working dilutions it is non-corrosive, non-tainting and non-irritating, and is also chlorine- and aldehyde-free.

Available in 5 litre bottles.

The F10®SCXD and F10®CLXD products are chemically the same but CLXD is 5 times more dilute than the SCXD (Super Concentrate). So 5 litres of CLXD is equivalent to 1 litre of SCXD in terms of the amount of disinfection cleansing that it can do.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

What is F10®CLXD used for?

  • Effective cleansing whilst reducing the microbial load.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of: floors; walls; tiles; kennels/cages; food and drink bowls; bedding; tables and basins

The recommended dilution rates of F10®CLXD

  • General disinfection at 1:100 (10ml in 1 litre)
  • High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses (including coronavirus) at 1:50 (20ml to 1 litre)
  • For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:25 (40ml in 1 litre)

These dilution rates mean that F10® is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.

How to use F10®CLXD

  • Clear away any debris, and rinse with water
  • Add the required amount of F10®CLXD to 1 litre of water – i.e. to create a dilution rate of 1:50 add 20ml*
  • Spray or wash the surfaces/object using the solution
  • Due to the cleaning detergent contained in F10®CLXD, any food bowls or instruments that are to come in close contact with animals should be rinsed with clean water to ensure no soap residue is left
  • Once cleaned, spraying with F10®SC or F10®CL solution, and then allowing to air dry, will ensure continued disinfection

* 1:50 is recommended for efficiency against most pathogens. If more resistant viruses are known to be present, use at 1:25 (40ml/litre). For general disinfection use at 1:100 (10ml/litre).
